# PagerMind > PagerMind is an AI SRE for teams that run Prometheus and Alertmanager. When an alert fires, it investigates with the team's own metrics, logs and dashboards (read-only) and posts a verdict to Slack or Microsoft Teams in about 90 seconds: false alarm, real issue or needs attention. It is operated by DevPlusOps LLC. ## What it does - Receives alerts from Alertmanager or Grafana alerting via a per-workspace webhook. - Filters noise before any AI runs: user filters, maintenance windows, a repeat cooldown and a storm limit. Filtered alerts are recorded and cost no credits. - Each workspace has its own isolated agent. A typical investigation makes about 20 read-only queries: Prometheus range queries, per-container CPU breakdowns, Loki log search, Grafana dashboard panels, Kubernetes pod state, and an optional read-only host agent. - Posts a short verdict-first note (verdict, host, evidence in plain sentences, one action) as a reply on the alert's Slack or Teams thread and on a web dashboard. - Learns from corrections: when an engineer marks a verdict wrong and writes what happened, PagerMind turns it into guidance for that alert. ## Safety - Read-only: PagerMind never restarts, deletes, edits or deploys anything. The host agent only runs commands on a fixed read-only allow-list and connects outbound (no inbound ports). - Connection secrets are encrypted at rest (AES-256-GCM). Customer data is not used to train AI models. ## Pricing - New workspaces get 5,000 free credits. A typical investigation uses about 100 credits. - After that, customers add their own OpenAI, OpenRouter or Anthropic API key. No card is needed to start. ## Who it is for - Platform engineers and SREs running Prometheus and Alertmanager who are tired of being paged for alerts that don't matter. - Sign-up requires a work email address. One organization per company; colleagues request access from the owner. ## How it differs from paging tools - PagerDuty and Opsgenie decide who gets paged and when. PagerMind decides what the alert means, and works alongside them (it can add its verdict as a PagerDuty incident note). ## Requirements - A Prometheus server reachable from the internet with authentication (basic auth or Cloudflare Access). - An Alertmanager receiver or Grafana contact point pointed at the PagerMind webhook. ## Links - [Home](https://pagermind.com/) - [Start free](https://app.pagermind.com/signup) - [Privacy Policy](https://pagermind.com/privacy/) - [Terms of Service](https://pagermind.com/terms/) - Contact: support@pagermind.com
